Water Tower Mural

Cumming Hometown Pride brought public art to new heights this year, with a 100-foot tall mural on the town's water tower.

The tower is located in City park, adjacent to the popular Great Western Trail. The design includes images that represent the character of Cumming, including its history as a railroad town, its close connection to agriculture and nature, its status as a biking destination, its irish heritage and more.

The mural was completed by Iowa muralist Ben Schuh, and was funded by contributions from the City of Cumming, Warren County Economic Development Co, Warren County Philanthropic Partnership, Middlebrook Farms, and residents of Cumming. The water tower mural now takes its place as one of the largest works of pubic art in the state!

Building a Sense of Community

Cumming Hometown Pride also continued its popular yard-of-the-month awards, delivered welcome bags to new residents, and helped get the city's holiday lights back up.

Thank you to our visionary and committed team of volunteers in Cumming for making all this happen!
