The Hartford Betterment Committee (Hartford's Hometown Pride group) has been bringing beauty to the community for decades, and this year was no different!

Public Art

The group received a grant from Warren County Economic Development to add three public art projects to Hartford. The first of these, a mural on the City Park basketball court, was completed this summer by artist Kathleen Roling. Two more art pieces are coming in 2021: a second mural and a series of metal banners on the telephone poles.

Holiday Cheer

The committee also helped brighten the holiday season, with new lights for the gazebo and park (thanks to a grant from Warren County Philanthropic Partnership), a holiday light contest, and some drive-by santa visits.
